Jay and Molly, family and friends invite you to join in the celebration and share memories at the Ithaca benefit celebration of Ashokan Music & Dance Camps. Since 1980, musicians and dancers have come to the magical woodlands of the Ashokan Center to share traditions, develop skills, and build friendships.
Ashokan Always benefit events also includes an elegant cocktail receptions in New York City (May 11). Jay and Molly, along with special guests, will perform at each event.
Introduce a friend who’s new to Ashokan or come to see old friends. Either way, you’ll have a great time!

Workshops and Jams 3 PM to 5 PM 
(included with Ashokan Always ticket or separately with optional $10 donation at the door for any or all workshops & jams)

3-5pm old time jam (Judy Hyman and Jeff Claus of The Horseflies)
3-5pm  swing jam (Dave Davies and Peter Davis of Swingology)      
3-4pm family ukulele jam (Karla Notariani)       
3-4pm waltz dance workshop (Rick Lightbody and Carol Johnson)
4:15-5:15pm swing dance workshop (Cindy Overstreet)
4:15-5:15pm melody uke jam for all (Karla Notariani) 

   Jay and Molly will be visiting all the jam sessions            

Benefit Event 7 PM to 11 PM:

7pm – 8pm: Dessert hour in the downstairs Lobby

8pm – 11pm: CELEBRATORY CONCERT AND PRESENTATION with Jay & Molly and special guests, followed by a contra & swing dance for the ages!

 
Early Bird Tickets $30 - Tickets at the Door $40
Donors of $350 or more may request complimentary tickets. Funds raised will help Ashokan continue to grow and ensure that Music & Dance will still be supporting and inspiring musicians for the next 40 years and beyond.
